"We Look Bad" Team USA Loses To USA B "Select" Squad

The USA Men's National Team, gearing up for the highly anticipated FIBA World Cup in the Philippines this summer, recently encountered a challenging setback during two consecutive scrimmage games against the Men's Select squad. Despite the spirited efforts of seasoned stars and promising rookies, the National Team couldn't secure victory against a formidable opposition boasting top-tier talents such as Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons), Jalen Green (Houston Rockets), and Chet Holmgren (Oklahoma City Thunder).

The scrimmage defeats have raised concerns within the camp, prompting a candid response from first-time NBA All-Star and National Team member, Anthony Edwards.

"We look bad, yeah we look bad man, we gotta get it together quick, but we'll get it together quick," expressed Edwards, reflecting the urgency to address the issues and fine-tune their gameplay in preparation for the forthcoming global tournament.

The scrimmages served as crucial preparation for the USA Men's National Team, enabling Coach Steve Kerr to assess different lineups, strategies, and player combinations ahead of the prestigious FIBA World Cup. With the event just around the corner, the coaching staff and players alike are aware of the need to regroup swiftly to present their best form on the international stage.
