Sergey Kovalev VS Andre Ward Fight Deal Finalized.
According to Boxing Scene the contracts for the Sergey Kovalev (30-0-1, 26 KOs) vs Andre Ward (30-0, 15 KOs) fight have now been finalized. The bout will take place on November 19th at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on HBO PPV.
There was plenty of speculation about whether the fight would not happen when Kovalev's promoter Kathy Duva described the negotiations for the fight a living hell at the Kovalev Q&A event that Ward was originally supposed to partake in, just a few short days after his UD win over Alexander Brand in Oakland.
Both men are widely regarded as two of the top 5 pound for pound best fighters in the world, which is why this fight is so important. An announcement, and ticket information is expected soon.
