LeBron James Agrees To 3 Yr. $100 Million Dollar Contract With Cleveland Cavaliers.


Four time NBA league MVP & three time NBA champion LeBron James has reportedly agreed to a three year contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers that is worth $100 million, ESPN has reported. For the first time in his career LeBron will be the highest paid player in the league next season receiving $31 million.

In the 2017-18 season, LeBron's salary will top over $33 million, which will be the the highest single season salary in NBA history. The previous highest single season salary holder belonged to Michael Jordan who in the 1997-98 season earned $ 33 million.

Other NBA players who have reached the $30 million per season threshold include Kobe Bryant, and most recently Mike Conley who this off season signed a 5 year deal worth $153 million.

This past season LeBron James delivered the city of Cleveland their first sports championship since the 1960's.
