Derek Fisher Working On Possible NBA Comeback

Former New York Knicks Head Coach, and five time NBA Champion point guard with the Los Angeles Lakers Derek Fisher is reportedly interested in an NBA comeback. The 42 year recently posted on his Instagram account the hashtags " #imnotdoneyet, #workingonme, #biggerthanbasketball, #butilovethisgame.

Fisher retired from the NBA following the 2013-14 season where he was a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder. That season he averaged 5.2 points, and 1.4 assists while appearing in 81 games. The only reason that Fisher retired was due to his former head coach and now New York Knick executive Phil Jackson came calling and offered Fisher the Knicks Head Coaching job.

Fisher's stint with the Knicks did not go so well, he was fired this past February after less than two seasons with a record of 40-96. It was highly speculated that the main reason Fisher was dismissed was due to his high-profile altercation with Matt Barnes. Fisher has claimed this has nothing at all to do with his dismissal from the Knicks. Fisher is currently dating Barne's wife Gloria Govan whom Barnes is separated from.
