ESPN's Marc Stein has reported that the Denver Nuggets have made an offer to Miami Heat legend Dwayne Wade that would be for 2 years and worth over $50 million. Contract talks between Dwayne Wade & the Miami Heat have been described as tense. The Heat originally offered Wade a deal where he would reportedly make $10 million per year, with the salary cap going up this season, and guys getting offered all types of ridiculous amounts of cash, this obviously infuriated Dwayne Wade which lead him to have discussions with other teams from around the league. The Heat made another offer recently which would be for 2 years and worth $40 million. That is about $10 million apart from what Dwayne Wade is asking for and from what the Denver Nuggets have offered. At 34 years old it is clear that Wade is looking to get PAID, something he sacrificed over the years in Miami so that they could remain in the title picture. The former NBA Finals MVP & 3 time NBA champion has never been the highest paid player on the Miami Heat roster.
