Guard DeMar DeRozan averaged 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game last season for the Raptors, and will extend his stay in Toronto. Not too long ago DeRozan made it known that he had no plans to meet with any other teams, and that he wanted to remain a Toronto Raptor.
Well it looks like he is a man of his word, via the Toronto Star Derozan will be staying put in Toronto, as the 26 year old has recently agreed to a max contract deal with the Raptors worth 137.5 million dollars. This deal will make DeRozan the highest paid athlete in Canadian Sports history.
