Hassan Whiteside Set To Re-Sign With Miami Heat For 98 Million.
27-year-old center Hassan Whiteside posted Friday morning on The Players Tribune Website that he plans on staying with the Miami Heat.
Rumors had been swirling that Whiteside had plans to depart the Heat, for possible landing spots of Dallas, and the Lakers. But according to a source from the Associated Press Whiteside will sign a four year max deal worth 98 million to stay with the Heat.
Last season Whiteside averaged 14.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks with an average of 29.1 minutes per game.
