Pelicans guard Bryce DeJean-Jones dead at 23 from fatal gun shot wound.
New Orleans Pelicans guard Bryce Dejean-Jones has passed away at the age of 23 according to the Dallas County coroners office. News was confirmed by Travis Hines of Ames Tribune.
Sarah Mervosh of the Dallas Morning News has reported that the Dallas Police Department confirmed that Dejean-Jones was shot while attempting to break into an apartment complex.
The Pelicans recently released a statement via their PR account.
In January the Pelicans signed Dejean-Jones to a 10 day contract. He played in 14 games with the team and averaged 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
