Luke Walton agrees to be Lakers next head coach
It was announced that earlier today Luke Walton reached a multi-year agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers to become their next head coach. The news was announced by Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak. Walton will begin his new head coaching duties once the Golden State Warriors post season ends.
"We're excited to bring Luke back to Los Angeles, where we feel he's going to start an outstanding coaching career," said Kupchak. "He's one of the brightest young coaching minds in the game and we feel fortunate that he'll be leading the on-court future of our team." Said Kupchak via NBA.com
